First Pictorial Representation Of Göbekli Tepe Found - NEW DISCOVERY

A tiny bone plaque in Sanliurfa museum holds the key to the orientation of 11,500 year-old temple complex. See it for yourself on this exclusive tour in May 2016: http://www.andrewcollins.com/page/events/Turkey_0516.htm. New article by Andrew Collins here: http://bit.ly/1KojxOs. The bone plaque was found during routine excavations at the 11,500-year-old site of Göbekli Tepe in southeast Turkey, but no one had recognised exactly what the carved lines on the small bone plaque showed. That was until Matthew Smith, a British telecommunications consultant living in Qatar, visited Sanliurfa’s new archaeology museum with Megalithomania and Andrew Collins, just 8 miles (13 kilometres) away from Göbekli Tepe itself. He saw something that everyone else had missed, and this was that the little plaque – just 6 cm by 2.5 cm in size, and no more than 3-4 mm in thickness – bore on its upper surface two T-shaped features like the T-shaped pillars found in profusion at the site.

Origins Conference, London, 7th November 2015 with speakers Graham Hancock, Andrew Collins, Jim Vieira, Lynn Picknett, Danny Hilman and Hugh Newman. Details here: http://bit.ly/1IArx37

Geometric Scottish Carved Stone Sphere Discovered at Tiwanaku

Subscribe: http://www.youtube.com/megalithomaniaUK. 420 geometric stone spheres have been found in the vicinity of Neolithic stone circles in Northern Scotland, with 169 coming from Aberdeenshire alone. Outside Scotland examples have been found in Ireland at Ballymena, and in England at Durham, Cumbria, Lowick and Bridlington. One was recently spotted by Hugh Newman over 6000 miles away that came from an important megalithic pyramid site in South America - Tiwanaku in Bolivia. To find one of these here may prove the connection between Britain and South America in prehistory. The Fuenta Magna Bowl has solidified links between ancient Sumeria and Tiwanaku, so perhaps this was part of a worldwide megalithic culture. Göbekli Tepe: The Forgotten T-Shaped Pillars in the Quarry

CLICK HERE www.megalithomania.co.uk/edentour2014.html to visit Göbekli Tepe in September 2014 (see other video here: http://youtu.be/E-Q9cviQcn0). At least 6,500 years older than Stonehenge and 7,000 years before the pyramids were constructed, a cult megalithic complex sat atop the hills near current day Sanliurfa (ancient Edessa), in southeast Turkey. Göbekli Tepe was flourishing at an astonishing 12,000 - 14,000 years ago, and today, the preserved remains still exhibits high degrees of sophistication and megalithic engineering skill, but not all the monoliths made it to the main site. 10,500 year-old Karahan Tepe: Göbekli Tepe's Sister Site in Turkey

Karahan Tepe is the sister site to the enigmatic Göbekli Tepe in Southeast Turkey (video here: http://youtu.be/E-Q9cviQcn0). It has many striking similarities to Göbekli. Firstly, it is still buried. All you are seeing in the video is the very tops of the T-Shaped pillars. There are 266 of them that mostly form parallel curved serpent-like rows. Some have animal and serpent relief carvings. Karahan Tepe was first discovered in 1997, and was surveyed in 2000 and again in 2011. It is located on the Tektek mountains and is within the boundaries of Sanliurfa (ancient Edessa - the birthplace of Abraham).

CLICK HERE www.megalithomania.co.uk/edentour2014.html to visit Karahan Tepe and Göbekli Tepe in September 2014.

I visited this unexcavated site in June 2014 with author Andrew Collins and a group of Megalithomaniacs on the 'Origins of Civilization' tour. It is not an officially recognized tourist site, so we had to plan the trip there carefully as it is on private land, upon the Tektek mountains. When Andrew visited there in 2004 the person who showed him around was warned he would get a beating if it was found that anyone had visited there. Ten years later, and the owners welcome the occasional visitor with tea and information. No beatings entailed, just tea and conversation after our morning visit. Anyway, enjoy the video, and join us there in September if you can.
